John Scheflow

John Scheflow joined Gardiner Koch Weisberg & Wrona in 2020 with six years of litigation experience. John works to represent and protect his clients’ interests in several of the firm’s practice areas, focusing on litigation. John handles litigation involving municipal cases, construction and real estate development cases, class action suits, commercial litigation, and general litigation.

Prior to joining Gardiner Koch Weisberg & Wrona, John practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago representing individuals and businesses in commercial litigation and consumer, securities, and antitrust class actions in courts across the country. Before that, John worked at a personal injury firm in Mequon, WI. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.

John attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he received the Susan Steingass Outstanding Trial Advocacy Award. He received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio.

John is also active with the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee and volunteers with the JDRF Young Leadership Committee raising funds to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. He lives in LaGrange Park with his wife, Alison, and son.
